This is a continuation of the Saturday Night in Denver blog post but these images were taken with my Minolta X-700 using my 35mm f/2.8 and 50mm f/1.4 lenses and 800Tungsten Xpro C-41 Color Negative Film. This film stock is ASA 800 so for the most part it was probably going to be too dark so I decided to push the film one stop to ASA 1600. I’ve heard you can push this 2 stops, but decided to play is safe. I did end up with some images that were too dark.

Read MoreI went out with the Denver Photo Night Walk Community last night in Denver and my goal was to capture it in Black and White. I did have my Minolta X-700 film camera with me and shot a roll of CineStill 800T, but I think I accidentally opened the back of the camera before it was roll of film was rolled back into the canister so we’ll have to see how that came out.

I acquired the 50mm f/1.4 from my brother and this along with Fujifilm Neopan Acros 100 has become one of my favorite combinations. I wish that Neopan was still being produced. I'm no starting to embrace grain. I've turned the noise on my Fuji camera's to -4 so it's not doing any noise reduction and am quite enjoying how the noise shows up on images like a nice film grain.
