Saturday Night in Denver with Cinestill 800T Film Stock

This is a continuation of the Saturday Night in Denver blog post but these images were taken with my Minolta X-700 using my 35mm f/2.8 and 50mm f/1.4 lenses and 800Tungsten Xpro C-41 Color Negative Film. This film stock is ASA 800 so for the most part it was probably going to be too dark so I decided to push the film one stop to ASA 1600. I’ve heard you can push this 2 stops, but decided to play is safe. I did end up with some images that were too dark.

365 Day Black and White Challenge - Day 19

Day 19 - 365 Day B&W Photo Challenge - This film camera was my first camera purchase back in college - The Minolta X-700. I acquired the 50mm f/1.4 from my brother and this along with Fujifilm Neopan Acros 100 has become one of my favorite combinations. I wish that Neopan was still being produced. I'm no starting to embrace grain. I've turned the noise on my Fuji camera's to -4 so it's not doing any noise reduction and am quite enjoying how the noise shows up on images like a nice film grain.
