I had a role of Ilford Delta 3200 sitting in the freezer and unfortunately I didn’t have any other black and white film for a trip up into Rocky Mountain National Park and during a snow storm. I decided to go for it. Since Ilford Delta 3200 is actually a ISO 1000 film, I decided to shoot this role at 1250, but still process the role at 3200. I had a 6 stop variable ND filter with me to help cut down some of the light in the bright scenes and so I could try to do some shallow depth of field work as well.

Read MoreI ventured to Downtown Denver early yesterday morning. It had been snowing the night before and the forecast was for it to quite snowing at around sunrise. I thought it would be a good opportunity to do some more black and white work and also use a on of my rolls of Fujifilm Neopan Acros 100 35mm film. The last time I tried a roll it came back with no pictures for some strange reason.

I did have my Minolta X-700 film camera with me and shot a roll of CineStill 800T, but I think I accidentally opened the back of the camera before it was roll of film was rolled back into the canister so we’ll have to see how that came out.
